PEJ – Projetos de Estudos Judaico-Helenísticos
The PEJ – Projetos de Estudos Judaico-Helenísticos is dedicated to the philological and historical study of Jewish, Hellenistic, and early Christian traditions in Late Antiquity, with particular emphasis on texts, transmission, and the circulation of ideas in the ancient Mediterranean.
The project combines close textual work, historical analysis, and internal seminars, articulated with teaching and research activities at the University of Brasília and in associated research networks. This site gathers institutional information, selected publications, and basic points of contact.
PEJ functions as a research and editorial framework connected to, but distinct from, the
Middle Persian Studies – MPS
programme.
